After being waived by the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, Andrew Bynum will be able to choose what franchise he joins for the remainder of the NBA season.
And according to Marc Stein and Chris Broussard of ESPN, there are eight teams interested in acquiring the 7-footer including the Dallas Mavericks.

With money reportedly being a "prime factor" in what franchise Bynum chooses to join (surprise!), the Mavericks are likely out of the running. But then again, given his knees and detrimental behavior, it's possible that not a single franchise will offer the 26-year-old anything more than a minimum salary for the remainder of the year.
In that case, Bynum's decision will come down to playing for a contender (once again eliminating the Mavericks' chances of acquiring him), and reports have indicated that the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Clippers are at the top of Bynum's list of preferred destinations.
