Report: Toronto Raptors could suit up in black and gold in 2015-16

Man, gold dinosaurs sound like what might happen if Ridley Scott directed a Jurassic Park movie starring Michael Jordan.

For now, the latest to emerge in the re-branding talk of the Toronto Raptors, is the the team may suit up in black and gold in 2015-16.

"I’m not suggesting it’s a done deal and a lot of different people and companies are coming up with a lot of different looks and styles but I was told on the weekend that black and gold is definitely something being considered," reports Doug Smith of the Toronto Star.

Smith offers an assessment of his own on the Space Jam 2-themed color scheme: "Red, black and white? Fine with me. Black and gold? Might look good, might not; won’t matter a whit if they’re 25-57."
