Nets' Pierce, Garnett not traveling to Boston for preseason game
Boston Celtics fans will have to wait until 2014 to see Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett back on the green hardwood.
Pierce told reporters Saturday he's not heading to his old home to face the Celtics in the Brooklyn Nets preseason action Wednesday. Garnett also won't be playing at TD Bank Garden.
Jason Kidd confirms both Pierce and Garnett won't be playing in Boston.
