The Brooklyn Nets have narrowed their head coaching search to former Milwaukee Bucks bench boss Mike Budenholzer, Sacramento Kings assistant Jordi Fernandez, and Phoenix Suns associate Kevin Young, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Brooklyn fired Jacque Vaughn in February, and interim head coach Kevin Ollie currently leads the team.

Budenholzer has 10 seasons of experience coaching NBA teams, five each with the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks. He's led his squad to the playoffs in nine of his campaigns.

Fernandez has worked as an assistant in the league since 2016 and is currently the head coach of the Canadian national team. Young has also roamed NBA sidelines since the 2016-17 season.

The Nets are going through a miserable season, sitting at 32-49 with one game remaining on their schedule.
