Millsap has non-surgical knee procedure, out at least 3 more games

The Atlanta Hawks have dropped seven straight games, and their prospects for the coming week aren't looking any brighter.

Hawks power forward Paul Millsap, who has been sidelined for the last five of those seven losses, underwent a non-surgical procedure on his troublesome left knee after being diagnosed with synovial inflammation, and will be sidelined for another three games before being reevaluated, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

The Hawks are 0-8 without Millsap this season, and after sitting comfortably in fifth place in the Eastern Conference for the bulk of the second half of the season, they're now in a three-way tie for spots 5-7 with the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, and just 2.5 games up on the ninth-place Chicago Bulls.
