Warriors look for season sweep of Clippers in priciest NBA game this week

Two of the best in the West will meet at Oracle Arena on Thursday, and tickets won’t be cheap on the resale market.

The league-best Warriors will host the Clippers in the NBA’s most expensive game of the week. On TicketIQ, a search engine that collects data from over 90 percent of the resale market, Warriors tickets against the Clippers own a $378 average. The cheapest tickets are listed from $85 each.

Thursday’s game will be the third priciest game remaining at Oracle Arena during the regular season. Only games against the Lakers on April 12 ($433 average) and Rockets on March 31 ($436 average) are more expensive.

Don’t expect to find tickets for much cheaper when the Warriors welcome the 9-win Nets on Saturday. The game is currently averaging a $368 ticket and $79 get-in price, making it the second most expensive game of the week. It is the fourth priciest Warriors home game remaining this season.

The Warriors are looking to complete a four-game season sweep of the Clippers, who have dropped each of the previous three matchups by 13 points or more. Their last meeting at Oracle Arena on January 13 produced the Warriors’ most lopsided win of the season, defeating the Clippers by 46 points in a 144-98 victory.
