Watch: Westbrook sinks game-winning jumper to lift Thunder over Jazz

USA Today Sports

Big-time players make big-time plays when their team needs them most, and on Monday night in Salt Lake City, Russell Westbrook showed the basketball world once again why he's a one-man wrecking crew with yet another clutch performance.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder in possession following Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward's 3-pointer to tie the game at 95, Westbrook dribbled up the court at Vivint Smart Home Arena, worked around a screen by teammate Steven Adams, and sank a jumper in George Hill's eye with 1.4 seconds left on the clock.

The bucket gave the five-time All-Star 38 points in total, along with 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in 36 minutes of action for his league-leading 22nd triple-double.

There was a stretch during the contest where Westbrook missed 13 shots in a row, although he nailed four of his last six, including this dagger.
