L2M: Cousins did not foul Wade on deciding play

The Last-Two Minute report confirmed the obvious.

DeMarcus Cousins was wrongly whistled for a foul during a last-second play involving Dwyane Wade in Saturday's contest that saw the Sacramento Kings extend their losing streak to five games.

The report ruled that Cousins put his hand on Wade's back as the creaky veteran streaked ahead for a fast-break dunk attempt, but deemed that Cousins did not affect Wade's attempt which rimmed out.

Cousins didn't care for the league's clarification. He tweeted out the following shortly after the L2M report was published.

After the game, Cousins sarcastically congratulated officials on the brutal decision. Kings point guard Ty Lawson went a step further by ridiculing official Michael Smith on Instagram. Wade himself even admitted that the foul was "questionable."

Wade promptly drained two free throws to secure the win for Chicago. Cousins had 42 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
