Jared Sullinger may not be available for the start of the 2016-17 campaign.

The Toronto Raptors power forward won't suit up for Friday's preseason finale, and could be sidelined next week when the regular season begins, reports Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.

Sullinger, who signed with the Raptors over the summer, is nursing a sore left foot suffered Oct. 1 in the preseason opener versus the Golden State Warriors. He hasn't suited up since, and is still dealing with pain despite resting for three weeks.

The 24-year-old averaged 10.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 81 games with the Boston Celtics last season.

Toronto brought him in to start at the four-spot over Patrick Patterson.
