Westbrook confident in OKC's shooting, won't take more 3s

The void left by Kevin Durant's departure is immense, and it will be felt across all levels for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

One specific area of weakness might be a lack of 3-point shooting. Last year's squad ranked close to league average in both attempts and percentage, and having shed their best shooter in Durant, the court might get a little cramped this season.

Russell Westbrook, however, doesn't really see a problem.

"Well, we got Alex (Abrines) who's a pretty good shooter. We got (Anthony Morrow) who's a pretty good shooter. Victor (Oladipo) was a great 3-point shooter last year. Donatas (Sabonis) is a pretty good shooter. Enes (Kanter) can shoot the three, so I'm good," Westbrook said.

"Oh my bad, (Ersan) Ilyasova can shoot the three. Who else we got? Andre (Roberson) ... yeah I'm good, I'm good."

So that settles it - the Thunder have enough shooters so Westbrook won't need to suddenly become one. That's for the best anyway - he launched 4.3 triples per game last year and hit them at a paltry clip of 29.6 percent.

The better option would be for Westbrook to attack the lane, collapse the defense, before kicking it out to the bevy of shooters.
