The New York Knicks are eyeing a pair of shooting guards to complete their offseason makeover.

ESPN's Marc Stein and Ian Begley report that the Knicks are interested in free agents Courtney Lee and Eric Gordon to slot in alongside newly-minted point guard Derrick Rose in the backcourt.

Lee figures to be the safer option. He doesn't covet the ball and largely operates as a spot-up threat. Lee hit 37.8 percent of his threes last season and is a career 38.4 percent shooter from beyond the arc.

More importantly, Lee is healthy - something Gordon has historically struggled with. The 27-year-old free agent from the New Orleans Pelicans only played 45 games last season having missed extended time due to a fractured finger.

Gordon, however, might offer more upside as a scoring threat. He averaged 15.2 points per game while shooting 38.4 percent from deep and can also slash to the hoop.

The Knicks have over $30 million in cap space which is plenty for either guard, but their first priority will be to sign Joakim Noah - possibly at a contract starting at $18 million per season.
