Report: Durant's free-agent meetings to begin Thursday with Thunder

Kevin Durant doesn't plan to travel across the country to be coveted.

Instead, his suitors will be coming to him.

The All-Star will be holding his free-agent meetings in the Hamptons on Long Island, N.Y., on Friday and Saturday, sources tell Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Durant, however, will reportedly have his first meeting with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, before flying to New York to meet with the Golden State Warriors, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.

There's expected to be no shortage of teams lining up to meet with Durant, as the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and Miami Heat are all believed to have been granted face-to-face meetings.

The New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks are also hoping to secure a meeting with the former league MVP.

Durant, 27, has spent his entire nine-year career with the Oklahoma City franchise. He averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and five assists in 72 games last season.
