He's no Kevin Durant, but he's no max contract for Joakim Noah either.

The Washington Wizards are interested in unrestricted free agent big man Darrell Arthur, according to CSN's J. Michael. Arthur opted out of his deal with the Denver Nuggets last week, making him a free agent.

Arthur is a more-than-capable rotation power forward/center who has averaged 7.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game over the last two seasons. The 28-year-old also shot a career-high 38.5 percent from beyond the arc in 2015-16.

The Wizards are in need of bolstering in the frontcourt, especially in the rebounding department. They finished 25th in the NBA in rebound percentage last season.
