Hours after the Los Angeles Clippers were eliminated from the playoffs, Paul Pierce has mixed feelings on whether he'll return for a 19th season.

The 38-year-old told reporters Saturday that he's "50-50" on coming back next year, but said he wants to avoid making an emotional decision.

Pierce agreed to a three-year, $10-million deal with the Clippers prior to this season and is owed $3.5 million next year and $3.7 million in 2017-18, though only $1 million of that is guaranteed.

After starting in 73 games with the Washington Wizards in 2014-15, Pierce appeared in a reserve role for the Clippers. He started in just 38 of his 68 appearances, averaging 6.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and one assist in 18.1 minutes per game - all career lows.

The Clippers were ousted from the playoffs by the Portland Trail Blazers in six games Friday.
