Junior Johnson to drive pace car at Martinsville

Junior Johnson will drive the pace car before the start of Sunday’s Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway, the track announced Friday morning.

The NASCAR Hall of Famer has 50 Sprint Cup Series wins, two of those coming at the historic half-mile track in Martinsville.

As a car owner, Johnson accumulated 139 wins and picked up six NASCAR Sprint Cup championships.
