UFC books Jones vs. Cormier, Johnson vs. Cejudo title fights for UFC 197

UFC 197 will officially feature the long anticipated rematch of Jon Jones and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier on April 23 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Cormier-Jones II will be the main event of a card that will also feature a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo.

The UFC announced both fights Saturday during Fight Night 82.

In their initial fight, Jones retained his light heavyweight title with a unanimous decision. Jones' title was vacated in April 2015 after he was suspended due to a hit-and-run incident.

Cormier then took on Anthony Johnson for the vacant title, winning the belt with a third-round submission. Since Jones' reinstatement in October, speculation has had the two on a collision course for the title when "Bones" returned to the ring.

In the event's second title fight, Johnson is looking to defend his title against the undefeated challenger Cejudo. "The Messenger" also won gold in freestyle wrestling at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Johnson appears undeterred by his undefeated challenger.
