Albuquerque is honoring their finest fighting export.

The New Mexico city is throwing a parade Dec. 6 to celebrate Holly Holm's monumental victory over Ronda Rousey to capture the women's bantamweight title at UFC 193.

The announcement was made on the city's official website.

An Albuquerque native, Holm keeps her training in the desert town, honing her skills at the famed Jackson Wink Academy.

A former professional boxer with championship pedigree, the 34-year-old made the transition to MMA in 2011, racking up a 10-0 record and capturing the sport's most coveted prize with a victory over Rousey on Nov. 14.
