Kevin "Baby Slice" Ferguson Jr. is going to have to wait even longer to make his professional debut.

The son of famed MMA fighter Kimbo Slice, Ferguson was scheduled to fight Rick Bing on the preliminary card of Bellator 162 on Friday. That bout has now been canceled after Bing missed a 165-pound catchweight limit by 16 pounds.

Bellator officials confirmed the news to FloCombat on Thursday.

Ferguson won his amateur debut this past March via first-round KO, but for the second time in three months he has been forced to miss a date with the Bellator cage. In August, an injury forced Ferguson out of a Bellator 160 match opposite Johnny Tomasian.

The 24-year-old Floridian is looking to follow in the footsteps of his father, a YouTube street fighting star-turned-mixed martial artist whose unique look and charisma made him one of the biggest draws in the sport despite his limited experience. Slice died of heart failure at the age of 42 this past June.

Bellator 162 takes place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn. The main event features Kendall Grove taking on former middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko.
