Report: Holm-Shevchenko, Johnson-Teixeira rumored for UFC Chicago

UFC Fight Night in Chicago may end up being host to some of the biggest names in the sport.

Holly Holm is rumored to be squaring off against Valentina Shevchenko, while Anthony "Rumble" Johnson is slated to fight Glover Teixeira, according to Damon Martin of FOX Sports.

Holm was defeated at UFC 196 by Miesha Tate, surrendering the UFC women's bantamweight championship as a result. Although some considered a rematch, Amanda Nunes will square off against Tate at UFC 200 in July.

Johnson and Teixeira are the UFC's second- and third-ranked light heavyweights, respectively, making for an excellent bout. The 32-year-old Johnson most recently defeated Ryan Bader at UFC on FOX in January, earning Performance of the Night honors.

Teixeira is also coming off an excellent victory, knocking out Rashad Evans via punches at UFC on FOX in April.
