VIDEOS: 5 loving displays in MLB for Valentine's Day

YouTube

Public displays of affection can be a hot topic among romantics, but they can be a little easier to stomach when baseball is involved.

Here are five loving displays by MLB personnel in recent years that couples and singles alike can both appreciate.

Gaby Sanchez kisses Neil Walker better:

After accidentally hitting Walker with his elbow in the dugout, Sanchez provides the perfect treatment: a kiss to the wound.

Buster Posey bear hugs Tim Lincecum:

Posey held nothing back when he effortlessly lifted Lincecum high into the air after "The Freak" posted a no-hitter against the San Diego Padres.

Big Papi hugs Munenori Kawasaki:

David Ortiz takes a break in the play to give Kawasaki a loving hug at third base. Or he might have just needed a breather.

Houston Astros mascot needs some love, too:

Orbit, mascot for the Astros, fools team reporter Julia Morales by initially leaning in for a kiss on the cheek before changing his mind at the very last second.

Chipper Jones and Freddie Freeman on the kiss cam:

When the kiss cam comes on, no one is safe. Not even Jones, who caught a wet one from Freeman while on the big screen.
