Lackey's no-hitter broken up in 6th inning

St. Louis Cardinals right-hander John Lackey took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of Friday's National Leage Division Series season opener against the Chicago Cubs until Addison Russell spoiled the bid with a single up the middle to open the frame.
The veteran took a perfect game into the fourth, but issued a walk to Kyle Schwarber before getting Kris Bryant to ground into a double play to end the inning.
Lackey's longest no-hit bid of the regular season was only three innings, and he's never thrown one in his 13-year career.
