Rays' Archer leaves game due to arm fatigue

Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Chris Archer left Saturday's contest with the Toronto Blue Jays after five innings due to fatigue.

Archer, who had tossed a career-high 207 innings prior to the start, was pulled after only 72 pitches. He acknowledged after the game he's dealing with arm fatigue.

The first-time All-Star finishes 12-13 with a 3.23 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across 33 outings. He also amassed 252 strikeouts, which ranks second in the American League behind Chris Sale.
