David Price called it the best birthday gift he's ever received.

During the third inning of Wednesday's 12-4 win in Texas, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Ben Revere made a near-impossible catch at the wall to rob Delino DeShields of extra bases on the pitcher's 30th birthday.

Revere's quick first step - calculated at 0.402 seconds after contact, according to MLB Statcast - set the tone for an impressive, wall-slamming grab.

Price said he hugged Revere in the dugout and thanked him for helping preserve the tie game.

"That was the first time I had ever pitched on my birthday, and it's a coin flip between that catch and, I guess, (us scoring) 12 runs," Price told reporters. "But that was a huge catch. There was nobody out to start that inning. It's at least a double and probably a triple the way Delino runs. That was huge."
