Yankees' Pineda placed on DL with forearm muscle strain

The New York Yankees have placed right-hander Michael Pineda on the 15-day disabled list with a right flexor muscle strain.
"I'm not worried. It's not a big deal," Pineda said about his ailing forearm, which will keep him from throwing for up to 10 days.
It was previously reported that Pineda was scratched from Thursday's start against the Texas Rangers in favor of left-hander CC Sabathia.
Pineda's been the Yankees' best starter this season, going 9-7 with a 3.97 ERA and 117 strikeouts across 118 innings.
The injury comes on the heels of the division rival Toronto Blue Jays trading for ace David Price in a blockbuster trade with the Detroit Tigers.
