Toronto Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista expects to play Wednesday after leaving Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies with a leg cramp.
Bautista winced in pain after inducing a ground ball in the eighth inning, and immediately grabbed his right hamstring as he limped towards first base.
Manager John Gibbons said Bautista will be re-evaluated later Tuesday night, but the slugger tweeted that he's only dealing with a cramp and thinks he'll be back in the lineup Wednesday.
The veteran entered the contest hitting .234/.370/.498 with 21 home runs and 66 RBIs.
Second baseman Devon Travis also exited the game with left shoulder irritation and will be re-evaluated later Tuesday night.
