The Texas Rangers didn't come close to beating the Los Angeles Angels this weekend.

Led by Albert Pujols' AL-leading 25th homer of the season, the Angels completed the sweep in Arlington with a 12-6 win Sunday.

Over the course of three games, the Rangers were outscored 33-8. Meanwhile, the Angels, winners of eight of their last 10, checked in at least 15 hits, their season-high coming into Texas, in all three games of the series.

Amidst the offensive outpouring by the visitors, it was C.J. Cron who stood out as the catalyst.

One night after notching a career-high six RBIs, the 25-year-old matched his career best with four hits, including an RBI double.

What makes this so sweet is that his previous best for hits was also against the Rangers earlier this season. Although he's hitting .529 against Texas, he's batting an abysmal .135 against the rest of the league.
