Tim Heitman / USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Red Sox may have finally found some stability in their starting rotation.

Eduardo Rodriguez allowed three hits, two walks, and amassed seven strikeouts over 7 2/3 scoreless frames to earn his first big-league win Thursday night in a 5-1 victory over the Texas Rangers.

The southpaw whiffed Prince Fielder in the bottom of the first inning to claim his first career strikeout victim.
