Tampa Bay Rays reliever Ronald Belisario will have the start of his season delayed as the right-hander reported to camp with an injury.

Belisario appeared at the Rays complex Saturday with his left arm in a sling, revealing to Mark Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times that he has a fractured left shoulder and won't do any on-field workouts for two weeks. General manager Matt Silverman noted the accident happened several weeks ago while Belisario was getting out of a swimming pool and that he won't be ready to start the season.

The 32-year-old agreed to a minor-league contract with the Rays last month, days after a deal with the the Toronto Blue Jays fell through.

Belisario lumbered through 66 1/3 innings last season with the Chicago White Sox, posting a career-worst 5.56 ERA and 1.45 WHIP.
