Report: Athletics, Orioles, Indians interested in Nolan Reimold

Dennis Wierzbicki / USA TODAY Sports

As rosters continue to be filled out in preparation for spring training, a trio of teams find themselves interested in outfielder Nolan Reimold.

The Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians have all checked in on the 31-year-old right-handed hitter, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN.

Reimold spent the first five seasons of his career with the Orioles before splitting time between the Toronto Blue Jays and Arizona Diamondbacks last season. In 29 games in 2014, he hit .232/.282/.435 with three home runs and five doubles while appearing in both corner outfield positions.

Injuries have spoiled a once promising career for the former second-round pick, as Reimold's been limited to 315 games in six seasons that have been highlighted by a pair of neck surgeries.

The Indians have been in search for a right-handed bat all offseason and reportedly attempted to sign Reimold to a minor-league deal last week.
