White Sox agree to deal with Tony Campana

Tony Campana, who elected free agency earlier this month, found a new home Friday after agreeing to a minor-league deal with the Chicago White Sox, reports Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish.

Campana, a 13th-round pick in 2008, has just 257 games of major-league experience and opened the 2014 campaign with the Arizona Diamondbacks before getting traded to the Los Angeles Angels in July. The 28-year-old outfielder boasts a measly .583 OPS over parts of four seasons in the majors but wields terrific speed, converting 66 of his 75 stolen-base attempts (88 percent) throughout his career.
