Report: Yankees, Phillies talked potential Rollins trade; asking price too high

The search for Derek Jeter's replacement reportedly went through the City of Brotherly Love.
The New York Yankees engaged in trade talks with the Philadelphia Phillies regarding shortstop Jimmy Rollins, reports ESPN's Jayson Stark.
Talks reportedly ended because the asking price for Rollins was too high for the Yankees. Rollins was never asked to waive his full no-trade clause.
Rollins has spent his entire 15-year career in the Phillies organization and will earn $11 million next season. He is set to become a free agent at the conclusion of the 2015 campaign.
Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. has also been accused of having a ridiculous asking price for left-hander Cole Hamels in trade talks.
