Report: Braves, Giants and Padres have made offers to Yasmany Tomas

Toru Hanai / USA TODAY Sports

Cuban free agent outfielder Yasmany Tomas reportedly has three contract offers to mull over.

The Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres have each submitted an offer, according to Peter Gammons, while the Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners are still said to be in the hunt.

Tomas is believed to be seeking a minimum five-year, $75-million deal which has reportedly cooled off the Phillies interest. The Giants are said to only be interested in Tomas if they miss out on Pablo Sandoval, who is set to make a decision on where he'll sign this week.

Atlanta has already cleared room in its outfield by trading Jason Heyward to the St. Louis Cardinals and are also trying to deal Justin Upton.

The 24-year-old Tomas hit .290/.346/.450 with six home runs in 65 games in his final year in Cuba and projects to be a cross between Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu and Boston Red Sox outfielder Yoenis Cespedes.
