Jose Canseco's finger falling off was a hoax

Jose Canseco may not have a job in Major League Baseball, but at least he has all his fingers. 

The former slugger claimed last week that the finger he accidentally shot off while cleaning his gun had fallen off while playing poker. Canseco, however, admitted to TMZ that the story was a hoax. 

Canseco, who hit 462 home runs in the majors, said that he planned to sell the gun and the finger on eBay.
