A key San Francisco Giants player is not 100 percent healthy heading into action Saturday night.
Third baseman Pablo Sandoval is battling an illness ahead of Game 4 but it won't keep him out of the lineup, reports ESPN's Buster Olney.
Sandoval has been a one-man wrecking crew for the Giants this October, slashing .321/.377/.429. He did, however, fail to reach base in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday, snapping a streak of 25 consecutive postseason games in which the 28-year-old reached base safely.
Sandoval is seeking his third World Series title in the past five seasons.
