Giants name Vogelsong, not Bumgarner as Game 4 starter

San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy will stick to his original plan and not start Madison Bumgarner on short rest for Game 4 of the World Series.
Instead, Ryan Vogelsong will get the ball for Game 4, Bochy confirmed after his team's 3-2 loss in Game 3.

Bochy said prior to Friday's game that Bumgarner could get the call should the Giants fall behind 2-1 in the series. The left-hander will instead throw Game 5 on Sunday on regular rest.
The move likely eliminates the possibility of Bumgarner also starting Game 7, but he could made available out of the bullpen for the potential decisive game.
