John Rieger / USA TODAY Sports
San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy is not worried about the back injury sustained by Tim Lincecum is Game 2 of the World Series.
Bochy revealed that Lincecum is feeling much better and is awaiting the results of his MRI, which he underwent Thursday afternoon.
The right-hander saw his first action of the postseason and was highly effective, tossing 1 2/3 scoreless innings with two strikeouts before suffering the injury.
The MRI results should be made public later Thursday evening or Friday prior to Game 3.
Lincecum also did some tossing in the outfield and appeared to be pain-free.
