The final out in the sixth inning of Monday's outing was worth a nice chunk of change for Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Dan Haren.
Haren, who agreed to a one-year, $10-million deal prior to this season, reached the 180-inning plateau for the first time since 2011.
The 34-year-old has been effective at the back end of the Dodgers' rotation this season. Entering Monday, Haren owns a 13-11 record and 4.14 ERA through 30 starts.
