Rusney Castillo will make his major-league debut in less than 24 hours, but he's already making his presence felt throughout the Boston Red Sox organization.

Castillo offered a glimpse of what's to come with this first-pitch solo shot to lead off Tuesday's Triple-A National Championship Game between the Pawtucket Red Sox and Omaha Storm Chasers.

Castillo is hitting leadoff and playing center field for Boston's minor-league affiliate in the single-game final. He entered play hitting .278 with two doubles and a stolen base since joining Pawtucket.

The 27-year-old Cuban defector is scheduled to make his MLB debut Wednesday in Pittsburgh.
