The Brewers are reportedly set to reunite with veteran reliever Francisco Rodriguez, agreeing to a one-year, $3.25-million deal with the 32-year-old on Friday afternoon, according to Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish.

Once considered among the top closers in the game, Rodriguez spent much of the last two seasons in a set-up role, but enjoyed an impressive resurgence last year, fashioning a 2.70 ERA with an 18:2 shutdown-to-meltdown ratio over 48 appearances with the Brewers and Orioles.

Rodriguez, who spent parts of the last three seasons with Milwaukee, has compiled 304 career saves, trailing only Tigers closer Joe Nathan for the lead among active relievers. A four-time All-Star, Rodriguez will likely compete with incumbent closer Jim Henderson for the ninth-inning job this season.
