Report: Mariners, Robinson Cano agree to 10-year, $240-million deal

The Robinson Cano sweepstakes have reportedly come to an end. He's a Mariner: 

Others are confirming Rojas' report. Cano has left New York for Seattle, and for millions upon millions of dollars. It's the third-richest deal in MLB history

The deal is pending Monday's physical. The Yankees have been informed, tweets USA Today's Bob Nightengale. 

By signing Cano, the Mariners will forfeit a sandwich pick between the first and second rounds of the 2014 draft to the Yankees. Their first-round pick was protected, thanks to their awful 2013.
