The Marlins reportedly agreed to terms with veteran infielder Rafael Furcal on Thursday night, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, who notes that the club intends to use the 36-year-old at second base.

Furcal, a three-time All-Star, missed the entire 2013 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery.  He last played in the big leagues in 2012, when he hit .264/.325/.346 with five home runs and 12 stolen bases across 121 games with the Cardinals.
