The Yankees reportedly agreed to terms on Tuesday evening with highly-coveted free agent Jacoby Ellsbury on a mammoth seven-year deal, according to multiple sources, the latest salvo in a hectic offseason for the Bronx Bombers.
Yankees deal with Ellsbury is seven years and $153 million. That's $12 million more than Crawford's contract.

The Yankees will forfeit their second pick in the 2014 draft for signing Ellsbury, who rejected the $14.1-million qualifying offer from the Red Sox.
"The $153 million includes a buyout for an eighth-year option, a source told Yahoo Sports, and will count as a $21.86 million luxury-tax hit. If exercised, the option would take the deal’s total value to $169 million," writes Yahoo's Jeff Passan.
