Red Sox to auction off beard hair from 2013 World Series run
If you're struggling to reconcile your desire to applaud philanthropy and the fact that people are auctioning off facial hair that used to belong to professional athletes, you're not alone.
Several members of the Boston Red Sox, who trimmed their famous beards after winning the 2013 World Series, will auction off their discarded facial hair -- along with the razor used to remove it -- with all the proceeds going to the Movember campaign.
