Report: Tomo Ohka attempting MLB comeback as knuckleballer

Japanese right-handed pitcher Tomo Ohka, who pitched for 10 years in the majors, is reportedly attempting a return to Major League Baseball as a knuckleballer:

Ohka will turn 38 in March, and has a career 4.26 ERA and 1.39 WHIP in 1,070 big-league innings. He last pitched in the majors for Cleveland in 2009.

Ohka had a 3.73 ERA in 2013 in Japan's Baseball Challenge League, according to nikkansports.com. He pitched to college students in Arizona in late October, the site adds, testing out his knuckleball.

You can watch footage of Ohka throwing his knuckleball in a game in September, thanks to the glorious Internet:

Good luck, Mr. Ohka. May your knuckleball dance.
