Blue Jays C Arencibia to sit again Thursday

Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia will be held out of the lineup for the second consecutive game, the National Post reports.

Arencibia's third full season in the big leagues has been a discouraging one, with his continued issues defensively and getting on-base largely negate his ability to hit for above-average power at his position. Though Thursday's replacement, Josh Thole, isn't an everyday solution at catcher, the Blue Jays may make finding a new backstop a priority in the offseason.
