You can call this Ryan Zimmerman rip your ex, folks, because it definitely ain't coming back.

Zimmerman, the Washington Nationals veteran seemingly possessed by the spirit of Babe Ruth early in 2017, continued his torrid start Saturday in the nation's capital, tying Eric Thames for the MLB lead in home runs with his 11th of the season - a 470-foot bomb off New York Mets reliever Addison Reed that, as it happens, tied him with Manny Machado for the longest homer of the campaign thus far.

Oh, yeah, he also leads the majors in batting average (.410) and slugging percentage (.892) after going 3-for-4 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Mets, which bumped the Nationals' record to 16-8.
