Chicago, Cleveland museums support WS runs
Lions and Tigers and Cubs, oh my.
In support of the Chicago Cubs' World Series run, the Art Institute of Chicago, a popular tourist destination, decided to pay homage to the team from the north side by adding a large Cubs hat to a bronze lion that stands guard outside its front door.

The fun didn't stop there, however, as their Twitter account got witty ahead of Game 2, challenging the Cleveland Museum of Art to a classic battle of the arts by altering Grant Wood's famous painting "American Gothic" with the man and woman sporting Cubs gear while replacing the original pitchfork with a baseball bat.

The Cleveland museum got in on the fun by firing back an edited picture of "Nathaniel Olds," a painting by Jeptha Homer Wade from 1837, sporting a Cleveland Indians jersey and helmet.
