Watch: Bill Murray crashes White House briefing to talk Cubs

Baseball superfan Bill Murray made an unexpected appearance at the White House on Friday during an early press briefing to sing the praises of his beloved Chicago Cubs.

He was in Washington to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor and, in typical Murray fashion, decided to make an unanticipated stop.

The 66-year-old actor said his Cubbies have an advantage in the NLCS due to their "good sticks," and he feels confident they can close it out in Game 6 at Wrigley Field, despite Los Angeles Dodgers sending ace Clayton Kershaw to the mound.

Murray has followed the Cubs closely on their postseason run, attending the NLDS against the San Francisco Giants while wearing a T-shirt that read "I Ain't Afraid of no Goat" and he even downed the rest of his beer in Game 1 of the NLDS.
