The San Diego Padres claimed Oswaldo Arcia off waivers from the Miami Marlins on Saturday, becoming the fourth organization the outfielder's been a member of since the end of June.

The move comes less than a week after the Marlins selected Arcia off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays, who acquired the 25-year-old in exchange for a player to be named later in a trade with the Minnesota Twins on June 24.

The Venzuelan played sparingly this season for the three clubs, appearing in a total of 55 games while slashing .226/.299/.390 with six homers and six doubles.

Signed by the Twins as an amateur free agent in 2007, Arcia's most productive campaign was the 2014 season in Minnesota, where he posted a .752 OPS with 20 homers over 103 games.
