Another day, another milestone for Albert Pujols.

Just 24 hours after taking sole possession of 10th on the all-time home run list, passing Mark McGwire, the Los Angeles Angels slugger reached another significant career benchmark Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Pujols collected an RBI single in the sixth inning to pick up his 100th on the season. It's the 13th time the 16-year veteran has reached the century mark in RBIs, joining Jimmie Foxx, Lou Gehrig, Alex Rodriguez, and Babe Ruth as the only players to collect 100 or more RBIs in 13 seasons.

Only Rodriguez has recorded 14 seasons of at least 100 RBIs.

It's the third time Pujols has driven in at least 100 runs in his five seasons in Los Angeles. He collected at least 100 RBIs in all but one of his 11 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals.

After a slow start this year, Pujols has been red-hot since the All-Star break. He leads the majors with 40 RBIs since the Midsummer Classic and sits eight behind Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado for the league lead.
